Best Dressed: Emmy Awards 2013.

Last night saw the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards take place in Los Angeles, California. All of the real fashion hits of the night had one running theme: the colour 'dusty rose'. Have we finally seen the end of garish hues on the red carpet?

Actresses last night took their place on the red carpet.

In Calvin Klein Collection, Rose Byrne looked chic with a minimal two-piece in the colour du jour. With blonder hair than we're used to, the Aussie actress accessorised with a silver clutch and hefty diamond earrings.

One of my favourite actresses, January Jones - AKA Betty Draper, looked incredible in a custom Givenchy, lace gown. Like Byrne, Jones finished the look with soft, 1920s curls and plenty of ear candy.

Homeland actress and award winner Claire Danes opted for an Armani Prive gown which complimented her fair skin perfectly. Danes also chose a 1920s inspired hair style and finished the look with a statement red lip.

Like 90% plus of Western Civilisation, I am hooked on Downton Abbey, and Michelle Dockery did not let us Brits down in head-to-toe Prada. Complimented with Fred Leighton jewels, the actress looked amazing (even if her dress isn't technically dusty pink).

Who else has seen last nights' dresses?
