Raf for Dior.

Perhaps the biggest fashion news so for this year: Raf Simons will take over from the disgraced John Galliano as the creative director at Christian Dior... and I don't know how I feel about it.

I think I'll have to wait until the first collection to make up my mind. Judging by Raf's most recent collection with Jil Sander, Dior are playing it safe: he is a fan of 50s inspired pieces, wasp waist silhouettes and neutral tones, all of which resonate with Dior. I just can't see Raf bringing anything new to the table. Agree?
